Detroit: Day 2 - A little better

| | Comments (0)

Another busy day at Detroit, with most (98%) of it spent in the media center again. Even though I'm stuck at a desk for 10 hours at a time, it's not too bad -- walking the floor with 15,000 other journalists all of whom are trying to get the same photo and the same information at the same time can get old really quickly. So, it's sort of nice to sit upstairs and just work.

I did get a chance to walk the floor a bit - this is at around 6:30pm, after most folks had left for the day.

View from Audi's new booth - looking out at Porsche and BMW.

These are two of the Audi deserts that I sampled... the chocolate coffee cup (the entire thing was edible) was filled with a raspberry mousse.

The Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR... only a cool $400k.

The 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang - I'm in love with this car.

I'll have more photos after tomorrow. I'm going to walk the show all morning tomorrow before heading for home.
