This pretty much sums it all up...

Can we please just fast forward through the rest of "dubya's" term? Please?

$2BB per month wasted on maintaining military equipment in Iraq. Money that could be spent wisely elsewhere (including by the military - I'm all for military endowment and advancement; we just shouldn't be wasting it on upkeep for our stuff as it sits in the desert)...

$258 million per day to finance the "war" in Iraq. That's $345 BB as of today... What could we do with $345 BB? What if we poured that $345 BB into communications, reconnaissance/intelligence to fight the terrorists? What sort of great systems could we have in place?

And aside from the fiscal costs, how many lives have we lost or ruined? It's a dang shame. And what have we improved?
